The Bellefontaine

Directions:

From Highway 8:  Take the 163 south exit and then take the University Avenue exit.  Continue straight ahead on 6th Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles.  Pass Laurel Street.  The Bellefontaine is located at 2400 6th Avenue on the corner of Sixth and Kalmia Streets, one block south of Laurel Street. 

From Highway 5 North:  Take the 5 south until the airport exit (Sassafras).  Turn left at Laurel Street.  Go straight up the hill on Laurel until you reach 6th Avenue.  Turn right on 6th.  The Bellefontaine is located at 2400 6th Avenue on the corner of Sixth and Kalmia Street, one block south of Laurel Street.

From Highway 5 South:  Take 5 North to the 163 North.  Take the 163 to the 6th Street off ramp.  Turn right on 6th Avenue and go 6 blocks.  The Bellefontaine is located at 6th and Kalmia, one block south of Laurel Street.

From Highway 94:  Take the 94 West towards downtown San Diego to the 163 North.  Continue on the 163 North to the 6th Avenue turnoff.  Turn right onto 6th Avenue and go 6 blocks.  The Bellefontaine is located at 6th and Kalmia

Note:  There is free public parking, when available, on 6th Avenue along Balboa Park, or within the park itself.  There is a private lot located on Sixth Avenue between Juniper and Kalmia next to the Imperial House Restaurant ($5 for up to 9 hours).  Additional parking is available on 4th and Laurel and at 5th and Laurel in underground parking lots.
