The Bellefontaine Condominium Owners Association is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in 1972 for the purpose of providing leadership, management and maintenance functions for the owners of our condominium.
The owners and residents of the Bellefontaine are a diverse group of young and old, gay and straight, conservative, moderate and liberal, spiritual seekers and non-believers, with a fabric of ethnic and cultural richness. We are committed to peaceful co-existence and respect for our common grounds and each other. While some of us enjoy each other's company and engage in social and community activities together, we also treasure and respect each other's needs for privacy in the building.
The ability to work cooperatively on chores and community projects, take food to an ailing resident, care for a neighbor's pet while on vacation or walk to a nearby cafe together creates a feeling of an old-fashioned neighborhood. Although there are many opportunities to engage in casual or meaningful conversations at the Bellefontaine, and to engage in social and community activities together, our more private residents are comfortable knowing their anonymity and privacy are respected. |
